Hello, thanks for visiting!

Emmy the Great, my former solo project, is now in archive mode, but you can still visit my lemonade stand (shop), and buy merch and records.

I’m still writing and performing. You can hear a new set of songs for early years at Word Play at the Southbank Centre’s Clore Ballroom, on selected Friday mornings.

My first book, My Cantopop Nights: a Memoir in Songs, will be published next June by Jonathan Cape.

I also run songwriting workshops and offer private online songwriting classes, which I’m very happy to discuss over email.
